Pope Benedict XVI: Around 200,000 take part in the state celebration

“If we had three popes, that would be a bit difficult to handle. But now that Pope Benedict has gone to the Lord, I think Pope Francis will stand by these principles that he laid down – that he will remain in this ministry as long as he believes he is capable,” he said adding that he doesn’t think a decision to step down is in any way imminent.
