Sunoco is an American oil refinery and service station chain headquartered in
Dallas, Texas, United States. Sunoco is the largest operator of gas stations in the United States. The company began accepting Apple Pay at its gas stations in May 2018 and now allows customers to pay with Apple Pay at more than 5,200 Sunoco gas stations across the United States.
Exxon Mobil is the only gas station operator in the United States to add Apple Pay support for its customers. The company says it will roll out the feature on all of its channels in the United States, but it’s unclear when that will happen.
7-Eleven stores have been accepting Apple Pay since early 2018, and their app has been updated to include support for Apple Pay and Android Pay mobile payments. Customers can pay with their iPhone 6 or later models or their Apple Watch using Touch ID or Face ID technology.
CITGO is one of the few gas stations in the country that has been allowing Apple Pay users to fill up conveniently since last year: users can enter their codes directly from their iPhone X via Touch ID or Face ID technology in the CITGO app to scan.
Conoco is a well-known gas station chain that accepts Apple Pay as a payment method. Conoco offers a variety of fuel options including regular, premium and diesel fuel.
